Martin comes from a family of proud painters. Two of his brothers are in the profession and gave Martin his early training. After college and his brotherly apprenticeships, Martin decided to start Benchmark. He also became a leader in local painters' organizations and is the past president of both the Washington Metro chapter and the Palm Beach County chapter of the Painting & Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA).
Martin is an avid tennis fan and player. He and his wife, Caryn, have two children.

With more than 25 years of experience in the painting industry and working with thousands of the Washington area's most demanding clientele, John is a great asset to the clients at Benchmark Painting. John started his own firm, First Class Painting & Restoration, Inc., in 1990 and developed a loyal and satisfied client base. He enjoys project managing jobs of all sizes and working with the crews. John has superb organizational skills and is also very detail oriented.
On his days off, he enjoys spending time with his daughter, Kelsea. Freestyle water sports at the family lake house in Virginia, and long distance motorcycle touring "Out West" hold a special place in John's heart as well. |

Andres' eleven years of experience as a project coordinator ensures his knowledge and attention to detail will take a painting project from concept to completion. He is dedicated to customer satisfaction and works directly with his clients to meet their individual needs, accommodate their special requests and create a design that fits their style and their budget. With the team at Benchmark, Andres provides excellent work at competitive prices, which builds long-term relationships with his customers. |

Tom is a multi-talented veteran in the field. He has 24 years experience as a painter, paper hanger and estimator, having operated his own firm for 16 years in Richmond, Virginia. He is a Certified Lead Inspector with the State of Maryland and is a past president of the Washington Metro chapter of the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA). Tom is also active in restoring old homes and is an avid motorcyclist and motorcycle safety instructor. |

Terry received a degree in construction management and has been working hands-on in the industry for more than 15 years. She has a wide range of experience in construction management, estimating, designing and drafting for both indoor and outdoor projects, large and small. Terry has established a large base of satisfied customers due to her eye for detail, her diligence and enthusiasm.
Terry is married with two boys and loves to travel.

Gina has a strong background in marketing and customer service, which makes her a great fit to manage our marketing and business development efforts. Prior to coming on board, Gina worked with Benchmark as a consultant and is now a proud member of the staff. Early in her career, Gina worked for large and small companies and then, in 2004, she started her own marketing consulting firm.
She cherishes the time she spends with her son and is interested in the arts, music and the Green Building movement.
