Faux finishes use paint to create the illusion of texture and depth to walls or any other surface. They are generally more expensive than wallpaper, but there are no seams or messy removal. Better yet, faux finishes are usually more durable than wallpaper and can be customized to any color you want.

The word faux, which means “false” in French, is pronounced like the English word foe. But we'll know what you mean no matter how you pronounce it!
